We encourage all students to give a moment to review the guidelines, they help ensure a safe and productive learning environment for everyone.

HOW SHOULD YOU BEHAVE?
Each student must be respectful to each other, present themselves decently, in the right frame of mind, and cooperate in the class activities.

DO WE NEED A BACKGROUND CHECK OR MEDICAL RECORDS?
Each student must pass the background check, present or have a TB test done, and a COVID-19 vaccination record or attestation. This is a MUST and should be done before the clinical rotation in a skilled nursing facility.

WHAT IF I MISS CLASSES?
If a student misses a class, it is their responsibility to find resources to catch up.
This is an accelerated program. Missing two straight days of class might prove difficult to make up for the missed classes.
Aside from the units and chapters discussed, there will be quizzes by the end of the day.
During lab hours, skills demonstrated by the instructor must be worked on cooperatively with a partner or a team.

WHAT IS THE PASSING PERCENTAGE ON QUIZZES AND EXAMS?
All chapter quizzes and the 60-item final exam must have at least 80% or above to pass.

A student is allowed to retake above if grades are below passing, upon the assessment of the Program Director.

HOW WILL THE LABORATORY SESSIONS GO?
There will be a mock test for laboratory sessions that will serve as a final demonstration of skills before the Clinicals.

WHAT WILL WE WEAR?
There will be NO DRESS CODE during theory and laboratory hours. However, during the clinical rotation in the skilled nursing facility, the requirement will be ROYAL BLUE SCRUB tops and bottoms only.

These will not be supplied by the school.
Kindly provide yourself the required work clothing.

WHAT IF I HAVE TOO MANY ABSENSES?
Two (2) absences will lead to a verbal warning.
Three (3) will be met with a written warning.
Four (4) absences will result in termination from the program without any refund of the tuition.

DO YOU DO REFUNDS?
If the student completes:

One week or up to 10%, the school is keeping 10% of the tuition cost.
-
More than one week or 10%, but less than 25%, the school will be keeping 25% of the tuition cost.
-
25% through 50% of the course, the school will be keeping 50% of the tuition cost.
-
50% and more, the school will be keeping 100% of the tuition cost.

REFUNDS PART 2
For any circumstance of behavioral terminations during class, labs, or the clinicals, there will be no refunds.

WHAT IF WE MISS SOME CLINICAL ROTATIONS?
During clinical rotations, if a student misses hours or days, the make-up hours will depend on the volume of students from the next batch as per state policy.
There should be only 10 students per clinical instructor. Priority will be given to the students from the current batch. Make-up hours for batches prior may be given depending on current student openings.

BEHAVIOR OR TARDINESS
Due to behavior or tardiness, the academy will be issuing warnings in this order to students that may lead to program termination depending on the gravity of the situation.

The student may contact the Workforce Board at (360) 709-4600 anytime for concerns or complaints.

CELLPHONE ETIQUETTE
Cellphones MUST be in SILENT mode at all times, especially during the clinical rotations.
Important calls must be taken outside the classrooms, while outside the building, or in the staff restrooms during the clinical.
There will be NO PHONE USE in any other location during the clinical.
Follow HIPAA regulations and facility protocol and policy.

DO WE NEED TO BRING SUPPLIES?
All practice supplies are owned and provided by Supreme Nursing Academy. DO NOT take them home.

UNWANTED TEXTBOOKS
Students have the option to sell back their textbooks to Supreme Nursing Academy for $20.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Each student will receive a Certificate of Completion acknowledged by WA state after completing the program.

The school is licensed under Chapter 28C.10 RCW.

DO YOU PROVIDE PLACEMENT AFTER?
Supreme Nursing Academy DOES NOT PROVIDE PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE.

TUITION AND COSTS
The tuition fee is $955.00 per student for the Certified Nursing Assistant Program. It includes the State Skills Testing on-site.
​
On the other hand, the bridge class from HCA to CNA will be at $550.00, which will include the State Skills Testing on-site as well.
​
In the event the student did not pass on their first try, a $100.00 fee to retake their State Skill Testing.
​
A student is given four (4) tries to pass on their State Skill Testing and their State Knowledge Test.
​
Out-of-pocket costs for each student are:

$85.00 or $87.00 for NAC online registration.

$55.00 for State Knowledge each try

Royal Blue scrub suit for the Clinical Rotation.

REQUIRED PROGRAM OR CLASS HOURS
Hours needed to complete each program are as listed:

The CNA Program needs at least 35 hours in theory.​

33 hours in lab/skills

40 hours in clinical (Skilled Nursing Facility)

The HCA to CNA Bridge Class needs at least 17 hours in theory.

OUR PARTNERS
Supreme Nursing Academy is partnered with The Long-Term Care Foundation of Washington State with students who currently work in an Adult Family Home with at least one resident paid by MedicAid.

TRANSCRIPT OF RECORDS
A student may request their Transcript of Records either by themselves or a representative with an Authorization Letter signed and dated by the student.

HOW WILL YOU EVALUATE US?
Supreme Nursing Academy adheres to the standards set by the State of Washington.
​
A student's evaluation or grading will be done according to three criteria: Theory, Skills, and the In-facility Clinicals.
​
Standards must be passed or met in all three aspects of the program.

CAN WE RE-ENTER THE PROGRAM?
Students dismissed from the school may request for re-entry in writing to the school director.
​
In cases where the student was dismissed from excessive absences (greater than 20%), or financial concerns, it may be possible to re-enter within the same school term.
In cases where the student was dismissed due to failure to maintain the minimum grade point average, coaching sessions may be given before re-entry of the program.
​
For a case of dismissal due to unacceptable conduct, a meeting with the school director is required.
Whatever the decision, the director's discretion will be final and will be mailed within five business days stating the decision.
